Program Description
In an effort to develop youth rugby in the North
America and around the world, Kudu Rugby sponsors
Player Development Camps run by world class coaches
and athletes to introduce the game of rugby and
improve the skill level of young and aspiring rugby
players. This program is for players and their education
of rugby.
The camp
program is open to all high school boys and girls
and collegiate men and women. Kudu Kamps are designed
to teach players both individual and team skills.
The emphasis is on having fun, learning both basic
and advanced rugby skills with the objective of
becoming a better player.
Upon completion
of the camp, each player will receive (upon request)
a Player Evaluation which describes the player's
strengths and areas in which they need to improve
to play at their level.
|
The camp program has all the components to allow
players (of all levels) the opportunity to improve
their skills. Kudu Kamps offer classroom instruction,
which breaks down the game into its Key Factors
and also touches on Team Culture and Team Building.
Players will have the opportunity to learn from
some of the best instructors and players available
and also, on occasions, guest players and coaches
from all around the world. Local coaches from
high school, collegiate and adult club teams are
invited to assist and also provide input using
their own expertise.
Field instruction is designed
for both basic and advanced skill levels with
the opportunity to compete in controlled scrimmages.
